This course will introduce the philosophies and central practices of this tradition. Class will be led by Dr. Phra Ajahn Thanat Inthisan, a practicing Theravada Buddhist monk and David Roylance with assist.
Students will have the opportunity to explore in-depth this fascinating ancient tradition and will participate in chanting ceremonies, walking meditation, and the practices of breathing meditation, Vipassana, and loving-kindness mediation.
If you ever wanted to learn more about Buddhism in a relaxing environment, this is the course for you. Its completely FREE. We collect a $99 deposit that will be refunded upon request or donated to a charitable organization.. (Deposit is required for each person attending.)

Support and host an ordianation ceremony for rural and disadvantaged young men (10-years old). Rural famalies have minimum resources to provide an opportunity for thier children to ordain. The donations from this class will support 1 young man for every $500 we can donate.
The Thai Institute of Healing Arts donates space, supplies, and our employees time to coordinate and conduct this course. In addition, the Thai Institute adds funds to increase the overall contribution of this course.
